I love taking pics of neon. Neon light seems to bleed beautifully and give a painterly effect. Of course this used to work better on film because the grain used to bleed too. I think though that a series I did on Polaroid film were the best as they came out looking like oil paintings.
If I can find them I will scan them and post them I think.
