The iPhone camera is not good…it’s appalling….another example of tech forced on us by American corporations. The rest of the world can handle 8 and 12 megapixel cameras on phones but because AT&T is a backward network we have to have this 2 MP crap toy camera!

Another self portrait. This one somewhat camp but I think it’s an interesting pic. Quite intense – again, the simple lighting seems ot add some punch and the tonal range is quite good. Compositionally I like it too as it’s slightly asymmetrical so has a visual tension.

Self Portrait

This is a self portrait I took in my bathroom. In common with many people we have recessed spotlights in there. I noticed that standing under one while the next one’s bulb had gone gave me this dramatic directional lighting.
